I learned what was bad for cleaning aircraft plastic/Perspex windows, and what was safe to use. Similar knowledge was gained with regard to leather or cloth seat upholstery, vinyl panelling, and carpets.
Most importantly, how to clean the cockpit panel without damaging controls, instruments, gauge faces, etc.
